The simple ingredients you’ll need:1 cup of softened butter (or margarine),1 cup (2 sticks) of softened cream cheese,½ cup of chopped strawberries,½ teaspoon of salt1 egg, 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice1 cup milk (or any other milk you like)4 ounces of ice cream (I used ice cream from an ice cream truck at the store),2 tablespoons of powdered sugarIf you’re like me, you’re craving a good old-fashioned ice cream sundae that will take all day to make, and you want something that’s easy to prepare and can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
The basic ice cream recipe is:1.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit2.
Whisk butter, cream cheese and strawberries together until well combined.3.
Beat egg and lemon juice until smooth.4.
Pour milk into ice cream and beat for another minute.5.
Spoon ice cream into a greased pan.6.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.7.
Let cool completely before slicing.8. Enjoy!
